Your challenges and areas of responsibility
- Conception, design, implementation and operation of various LAN, WAN, WLAN and securityinstallations in various forms
- Conception, design, implementation and operation of remote access solutions via VPN, ZTNA, EDR
- Support and advise our 1st level support team in all network and network-related issues
- Analyzing and solving complex technical challenges in the context of 2nd and 3rd level support
- Developing and maintaining IT processes and documentation of the supported systems
- Assignments in the construction or modification of network infrastructure projects at home and abroad
- Assumption of further tasks in the area of network services as a member of a technically experienced andcommitted team (currently 9 engineers), which always supports each other
- Collaboration in the on-call service
Your profile
- Completed IT training or equivalent training
- Sound, practical experience in the area of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls,cloud security)
- Very good knowledge of Cisco Systems and/or Fortinet products
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, Google, AWS in the area of network connectivity andnetwork security
- Experience in the SDWAN environment
- Experience with one or more products from the following manufacturers desirable: Check Point, Infoblox, VMware NSX-T, Meraki, Cisco Umbrella, Zscaler
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Communicative team player who enjoys working with national and international customers
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- And last but not least, a good sense of humour
